About the Shofar Craft
This marked my first venture into shofar activities. I aimed to spotlight key elements through an interactive craft. The outcome was notably distinct, capturing my students’ enthusiasm. Additionally, a version tailored for older grades includes filling in the information.
Shofar Messages Craft
Among the collection, this particular craft stands as my favorite. Meticulous effort was invested in fashioning its distinctive design. Notably, it takes on the shape of a shofar itself. The craft features six messages for the significance behind why we blow, accompanied by captivating artwork. Written in a manner accessible to children, this creation is bound to become a beloved asset within your classroom.

Shofar Seekers – Animal Edition Cards
This game stands as one of my earlier Rosh HaShanah creations, and I take considerable pride in its design. The essential goal of blending learning with enjoyment for kids is always at the forefront, and this game brilliantly accomplishes that. Interestingly, even in my role as a teacher, I found myself acquiring a few new insights through this experience.
The gameplay closely mirrors that of a traditional match-and-pair game. As cards are unveiled, the teacher seizes the opportunity to elaborate on the suitability or unsuitability of each animal’s horn for a Shofar. As an added perk, a printable set can be readied to grace the classroom walls.

Shofar Animals PowerPoint Game
After the Shofar Seekers Card Game achieved success, I dedicated efforts to converting it into a PowerPoint game. This adaptation allowed me to incorporate the element of sound, a truly delightful enhancement.
